Joy brings a wealth of experience in advocacy and a deep commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence. With a proven track record of implementing programs that deliver essential resources and support, Joy is dedicated to raising awareness and fostering community collaboration. Under her leadership, MCADV is focused on achieving both short and long-term strategic goals, ensuring the delivery of quality services by staff, and driving social change through advocacy, technical assistance, and public awareness initiatives. Joy is passionate about transforming economic, social, and political systems, and she provides the leadership necessary to enhance Mississippi’s domestic violence programs and engage communities in the critical work of ending domestic violence.

Alicia Washington

Chief Financial Officer

Alicia is the financial backbone of MCADV, expertly navigating budgets, managing grants, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements to secure the coalition’s financial stability. Her keen financial acumen not only sustains MCADV’s operations but also fuels its growth, allowing the organization to expand its impact and continue its vital work in the community.

Communications and Membership Specialist
