Address: Hilton Jackson Hotel, 1001 East County Line Road, Jackson, MS, United States

The Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence (MCADV) invites you to the 9th Annual Purple for Peace, “Signal Boost: Strengthening the Voices of Victims and Survivors.” This year’s event is Oct. 4, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Jackson Hotel with guest speaker La’Porsha Renae, American Idol season 15 runner up from McComb, MS and Jewell Hillery as the Mistress of Ceremony.
Purple for Peace is a luncheon that promotes family violence prevention in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) in October and celebrates domestic violence survivors, advocates and friends. The luncheon honors an individual or organization that has contributed in some way to the effort to end domestic violence in the state of Mississippi.
